How to sell USDT for naira in Nigeria
Send USDT to your own deposit address, see your exact naira rate first, and get paid to your bank. Here is how it works on VinX.
The short answer: open VinX on Telegram, choose to sell crypto, pick USDT and the network you are sending on, then send it to the deposit address the bot gives you. You see your exact naira rate before you send. Once your deposit confirms, the naira lands in your VinX wallet and is paid to your bank.
What you need
- Telegram on your phone or computer.
- USDT in a wallet or exchange account you control.
- A Nigerian bank account to receive your naira.
- At least the minimum for your network. For USDT that starts from 1 USDT.
Step 1: choose USDT and your network
VinX accepts USDT on several networks, including TRC20, BEP20, ERC20 and Solana. Pick the network your wallet or exchange will send on. The network you choose in VinX and the network you send on must be the same.
Step 2: check your rate
The bot shows your naira rate for USDT before you send anything. Rates move through the day, so the rate in the bot is the one that counts, not a screenshot from earlier.
Step 3: send to your deposit address
The bot shows a deposit address that belongs to your account. Copy it and paste it into your wallet or exchange. Before you confirm, check that the first and last few characters match. Send only USDT, on the network you chose.
Step 4: get your naira
When your deposit confirms on the network, its naira value is credited to your VinX wallet. With autopay on, it goes straight to your bank. When autopay sends it to your bank, that payout carries a ₦53.75 transfer fee. Withdrawing from your wallet yourself has no fee.
Mistakes to avoid
- Sending on a different network from the one you picked in VinX. Crypto sent on the wrong network may not arrive, and it can be hard or impossible to recover.
- Sending less than the minimum for your network.
- Typing the address by hand instead of copying it.
- Sending a different coin to your USDT address.
If something looks wrong, stop and message Vin on Telegram before you send again.
Selling other coins
The same steps work for USDC, BTC, ETH, BNB and SOL. For BTC, ETH, BNB and SOL, the naira value is set at the VinX price when your deposit confirms. If the price moves while your deposit is confirming, your final amount can differ a little from the rate you saw.
