Privacy policy

What we collect

• Your account: your name, your email address and your Telegram account (its number and username) if you use them, your phone number if you share it with us, and the referral or partner code you joined with, if any.
• Your money details: the bank account you are paid to (bank, account number and the name on it), your wallet balance, your withdrawals and your autopay choice.
• Your sales: for each gift card, the brand, country, type, amount, the code or photo you send, its receipt photo if there is one, the quote and the result. For crypto, the coin, network, the address we give you, the amount, the transaction record and what you were paid.
• Sign ins on the web: when you sign in on vinxapp.com and the internet address you connect from, so we can keep your account safe.
• Messages with us: what you send to Support and the help you get.
• On vinxapp.com: the site uses no analytics and no advertising cookies. We record the internet address of a visit only to limit abuse, and count visits to partner and campaign links without identifying you.

We do not collect your card PIN, your bank password or your crypto wallet keys. We will never ask for them.

Why we use it

• To run your sales: quote your card or coin, check it, pay you and send your receipts.
• To keep your money and account safe: spotting cards that have already been used and unusual activity on your account.
• To meet the law: keeping records of payments, and answering lawful requests from regulators and the police.
• To support you: answering your messages and fixing problems.
• To tell you about VinX: rates, offers and news in your VinX chat. Tell Support if you do not want them and we stop.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We share it only as far as each of these needs it:

• Partners who check and redeem gift cards receive the card's code or photo, its receipt photo and the card's details, so they can check it. They never receive your name, contact details or bank details.
• Our crypto custody and payment provider receives the coin deposits sent to your VinX address and the bank details for crypto payouts.
• Banks and payment providers receive what is needed to send money to your account.
• Service providers we use to run VinX: Telegram for messages, Railway for servers, Cloudflare for delivering the website, and Resend for emails. They process data only on our instructions.
• A VinX partner or staff member who referred you sees that you joined through them and the totals that decide their pay, never your sales, contact or bank details.
• Authorities, when the law requires it, or to stop fraud or theft.

Some of these providers store data outside Nigeria. When they do, we use providers with adequate protection, as the Act requires.

How long we keep it

We keep your sales, payments and withdrawals, with the cards you sent for them, for as long as the law requires, even after you close your account. Gift card photos you send from the app or the web are deleted 90 days after the trade closes, unless we are still looking into that trade. A record that the photo existed stays. Other data is kept only while it is needed for the reasons above.

Your rights

• See the personal data we hold about you, and get a copy.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete your data, except what the law makes us keep.
• Stop us sending you news and offers.
• Object to how we use it, or limit it.

Contact Support or email [email protected]. We answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission at ndpc.gov.ng.

Closing your account: contact Support once your balance is withdrawn and no trade is open. We then stop using your data, except the records the law makes us keep.

Keeping it safe

Your data travels encrypted. Staff see only what their work needs, and bank account numbers are shown by their last 4 digits. Only you can withdraw your money, to a bank account in your own name.

Children

VinX is only for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly hold data about anyone younger.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date above and tell you in your VinX chat before the change applies.
