Do you need a receipt to sell a gift card in Nigeria?

Some gift card brands do not ask for a receipt at all on VinX. Steam, Razer Gold and Apple / iTunes are examples: their trade flow has no receipt question or receipt-photo step. Other brands, including Amazon and Visa, ask what kind of receipt you have but also offer a No Receipt option. Choose the answer that matches your card. VinX shows any available rate and naira payout before asking you to send the card.

When will VinX ask about a receipt?

Start a trade by choosing the card's brand, country, form and face value. Some brands also need the card series, identified by the first digits on the card. For a brand such as Amazon or Visa, the bot asks you to choose Cash Receipt, Debit Receipt, Credit Receipt or No Receipt before it checks the rate.

For Steam, Razer Gold and Apple / iTunes, the bot skips the receipt question entirely. You can continue to the quote without selecting a receipt type. Still follow the other prompts for your specific card; a card that needs no receipt may still need a code or card photo after you accept its quote.

What if I do not have a receipt?

If the bot asks and you do not have one, tap No Receipt. The bot then requests a quote using that answer. If a rate is available, review the You get amount before you decide whether to accept. A quote for a card with a receipt may differ from one without it, so enter your actual details.

Choosing No Receipt means the bot will not ask you to upload a receipt photo for that trade. It does not guarantee that a rate will be available or that the card will pass checking. If VinX cannot offer a rate, you can leave the trade there; do not send the card hoping for a different payout.

What if I have a receipt?

Choose the matching receipt type when asked. After you accept the quote, send the card details the bot requests. For a physical card, that may include a photo of the front and, for some cards, the back. If you selected a receipt type, the bot also asks for a receipt photo for each card. For an e-code, it asks for the code as text or a screenshot, followed by the receipt photo if one is required.

Send these details only in your VinX Telegram chat after accepting the quote. Follow the prompts in order, especially if you are selling more than one card.

Does a quote mean the card is approved?

No. The quote tells you the offered rate and total payout for the details you entered. After you accept and send the card, VinX checks it. If the card is confirmed, the payout is added to your VinX wallet, where you can request a bank withdrawal. You can follow the trade in History.

The simplest rule is to answer the receipt question honestly and check the You get amount before sending anything. If the bot does not ask for a receipt, continue with the prompts it does show.
