How to sell a Visa or Amex gift card for naira
Visa and Amex gift cards are quoted by card series. Here is how to find yours, what to send, and how to get paid in naira on VinX.
The short answer: Visa and Amex gift cards are quoted by their series, which is how the card number starts. In VinX on Telegram, tap Sell Gift Card, choose Visa or Amex, pick your card's series, country, type and value, and you see your naira total before you send anything.
What a card series is
The series is the first four digits of the card number. It tells us which kind of Visa or Amex gift card you have, and different series can get different rates. That's why the bot asks for it first.
Visa gift cards VinX accepts
- Country: US, UK and Canada.
- Type: e-codes and physical cards.
- Series: 4034, 4358, 4786, 4852 and 5113. If yours starts differently, choose the other option and tell us how your card number starts.
Amex gift cards VinX accepts
- Country: US.
- Type: e-codes and physical cards.
- Series: 3779. If yours starts differently, tell us how your card number starts.
Receipts for Visa cards
For Visa, the bot asks whether you have a cash, debit or credit receipt, or no receipt. You can sell without one. If you choose a receipt type, the bot asks for a photo of the receipt for each card. Your quote can be different with or without a receipt.

How to sell your card
- Tap Sell Gift Card and choose Visa or Amex.
- Pick your card's series, country, e-code or physical, and value.
- Check your quote. It shows the rate and the total you get in naira, and stays valid for 10 minutes.
- Accept, then send the card: the code as text or a screenshot, or a clear photo for a physical card. If the bot asks for a receipt or a photo of the back, send it.
- Follow your trade in History. Once confirmed, your naira goes to your VinX wallet, and to your bank if autopay is on.
Things to know
- Visa and Amex gift cards are prepaid cards, not credit cards.
- Pick the series and country exactly as they are on your card, so your quote matches.
- Only send the card inside the VinX chat, and don't use it after you send it.
